ESPN Caribbean continues showcasing every second of

West Indies’ road to the final

Coverage to feature ESPNcricinfo Match Day Shows

on Location in Antigua

ESPN continues to bring action from the 2018 ICC Women’s World T20 Cup LIVE from the Caribbean as the West Indies enter the semifinals, one step closer to defending their 2016 crown on home soil. The semis and final will be broadcast from Antigua from November 22 on ESPN Caribbean and ESPN Play — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.

ESPN will once again have an expert panel on location in Antigua for these title-deciding matches. To mark this momentous occasion in world cricket and to bring Caribbean fans extended coverage of the Windies’ road to the final, ESPN will continue hosting ESPNcricinfo at 2018 ICC Women’s World T20: Match Day–pre-match, mid-innings and post-match studio programmes led by the two of the world’s biggest cricketing pundits, Jamaica’s very own Alexis Nunes, and Melinda Farrell of Australia and ESPNcricinfo, along with West Indies superstar Stacy-Ann King.

The Windies had a perfect showing in Group B with four wins from four matches and will face three-time champions, Australia, in the first semis. Group A winners India will then face 2009 winners England right after as part of an action-packed double header from the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The winners will then face off in the Grand Final on November 24 at the same venue.

The titleholders have been bolstered by the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, Deandra Dottin, with the likes of Captain Stafanie Taylor and vice-skipper Hayley Matthews also showing why the region is considered world-class in the T20 format. These players will be crucial as the Windies aim to become the first ever team to retain their crown on home territory.
