Today, espnW announced its roster of sponsors for the ninth annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit presented by Toyota. Toyota returns as the presenting sponsor for the sixth year. Returning sponsors Gatorade, Wells Fargo, Procter & Gamble and the V Foundation for Cancer Research will also be joined by first time sponsors Major League Baseball and Specialized Bicycles.

From October 1-3, the Summit will showcase the most influential women in sports, business and entertainment at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Calif. The two-day conference will feature panels, keynotes, work sessions, presentations and activities geared towards creating change and opportunity for women in sports.

In addition to showcasing its vehicles throughout the venue, Toyota will announce the sixth class of “Everyday Heroes,” an award that honors three organizations making a difference for women and girls in their local communities through sports. A celebration of their accomplishments and impact will be featured during the event and at espnW.com/Summit. 2016 “Everyday Hero” honoree Courtney Payne-Taylor will also return to share her accomplishments since receiving the award.

Gatorade returns as the official sports fuel sponsor and will once again provide guests with its products at all athletic activities. Throughout the event, attendees can participate in cycling, yoga, morning runs, paddle boarding, dance workouts and beach volleyball.

Official financial sponsor Wells Fargo returns to host Executive Office Hours, a program in which attendees will be able to interact one-on-one with senior executives from a variety of companies and industries.

Procter & Gamble also returns as a sponsor with on-site activations and unique social integrations tied to two brands with a strong history of supporting women and girls, Olay and Always.

Sponsoring the Summit for the fourth consecutive year, the V Foundation will invite guests to participate in three Team V runs in conjunction with the New York Road Runners. The organization will also provide guests with educational materials that drive awareness for cancer research.

Major League Baseball and Specialized Bicycles join as first-time sponsors for The Summit in 2018. Both will activate in The Summit Welcome Suite. Major League Baseball will bring the “Commissioner’s Trophy,” which will be given to the winner of the 2018 World Series, for photo opportunities with Summit attendees. Specialized Bicycles will lead cycling activities during the Summit sports activity sessions.

In addition to branding and on-site integrations, Summit sponsorships will feature digital and social activations across espnW’s platforms.
