Bills center Mitch Morse exits game vs. Dolphins with concussion

NFL, Buffalo Bills

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse has been ruled out of the team's game against the Miami Dolphins with a concussion.

Morse left the game in the third quarter and went into the blue medical tent on the sideline. He was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a head injury and was ultimately ruled out with a concussion.

Offensive lineman Greg Van Roten has moved from right guard to center to fill Morse's spot. Backup offensive lineman David Quessenberry is now at right guard.

Morse, 30, has a history of concussions with this being at least the sixth reported concussion of his career. He missed most of the team's training camp in 2019 with a concussion and suffered one in November 2020.

The center is in his fourth season with the Bills after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been dealing with a variety of injuries this season, including an elbow, and has missed two games already this year.
