          Commanders WR Dyami Brown hauls in pair of spectacular TD catches vs. Titans

          LANDOVER, Md. -- The Washington Commanders drafted wide receiver Dyami Brown in the third round last season hoping he could provide big plays with his speed. Finally, in the fifth game of his second season, he made a huge play.

          Brown caught a 75-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Carson Wentz on a first-down play with 14 minutes, 6 seconds left in the second quarter Sunday. It gave Washington a 10-7 lead over the Tennessee Titans -- its first lead since Week 1.

          It was Brown's second catch of the season and first touchdown of his career. With Jahan Dotson sidelined because of a hamstring injury, Brown will receive more playing time. On this play-action pass, Brown beat cornerback Caleb Farley, hauling in Wentz's throw around the Titans' 26-yard line as Farley hit the ground.

          Brown's scoring play was Washington's longest since Terry McLaurin caught a 75-yard touchdown pass in the 2019 season opener vs. Philadelphia.

          But Brown didn't stop there. With 4:41 left in the third quarter, Brown, facing press-man coverage, ran a deep fade to the left from the slot position.

          Wentz gave him a chance and Brown hauled it in with a one-handed catch for a 30-yard touchdown. It gave Washington a 17-14 lead.
