Twitter reacts to Jaguars' comeback win over Chargers

The AFC wild-card game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars seemed to be over before halftime.

Chargers CB Asante Samuel Jr. posed as Trevor Lawrence's favorite receiver and collected three early interceptions. Lawrence threw as many completions (four) as interceptions (four) through six drives and the Bolts led 27-0 with just over four minutes remaining in the first half.

But then football fans, including Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman, learned that Doug Pederson's squad cannot be counted out as the Jags mounted the third-largest comeback in NFL postseason history with a 31-30 win.

Jacksonville's young offensive stars showed up in the clutch. Lawrence opened the second half by completing 15-of-17 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Lawrence also ran in a 2-point conversion that brought the Jags within three points of a victory.

On the next drive, running back Travis Etienne Jr. ripped off a 35-yard run on fourth-and-1 with under two minutes remaining that set up Riley Patterson's game-winning 36-yard field goal.

The unlikely win was the talk of sports Twitter -- and rightfully so. Patrick Mahomes, Reggie Bush and Jalen Ramsey were among the stars to compliment Jacksonville's second-half heroics.
