Bills' James Cook breaks loose for career-long 27-yard TD run

CHICAGO -- In frigid temperatures, the Buffalo Bills offense found its success on the ground. With a kickoff temperature of 9 degrees, the Bills trailed the Chicago Bears the entire first half. But they took the lead in the second half thanks to their running backs.

Rookie James Cook ran in a career-long 27-yard touchdown to give the Bills a 21-10 lead midway through the third quarter. Cook zigged and zagged past defenders to find the end zone. The score was the second rushing touchdown of his career and his second straight game with a touchdown (receiving score vs. the Miami Dolphins last week).

The Bills are setting record numbers against a poor Bears defense with a season-high 194 rushing yards and an average of 10.8 yards per carry. The franchise record for yards per carry in a game is 9.3 set in 2011 vs. the Raiders.

Running back Devin Singletary also got in on the action with a 33-yard touchdown run of his own earlier in the third quarter. Singletary made the run almost look easy, having to make a move past one defender and then turning on the jets to get in the end zone.
