And just like that, with the Seattle Seahawks' victory over the Denver Broncos, the first installment of the second season of Peyton and Eli's Monday Night Football telecast -- and Week 1 of the NFL season -- is behind us.
The Manning brothers wasted no time proving they are still as fun in the nonconventional booth as they were in their debut season.
Whether offering up insight into the game, chirping at each other or partaking in story time with their guests, the former quarterbacks reminded us Mondays are just a little bit better during football season.

Until next time, here are some of the best ManningCast moments of Week 1 from Peyton, Eli, Saquon Barkley, Joel McHale and Shannon Sharpe:
Jump pass and a beauty
Geno Smith might have big shoes to fill in replacing Russell Wilson, but he got off to a hot start with this crafty jump pass for a touchdown. Of course, Eli (Smith's former teammate) took a little credit for teaching him the move. Peyton was ... skeptical.
"I taught him that!"

Shade thrown at the Jets
The New York Jets performed less than admirably Sunday, which led Peyton to get a little dig in at them.
Veteran advice
Barkley joined the Mannings in the second quarter, and he and Eli reminisced about a disagreement they had when Barkley was a rookie on the Giants.
"If I tell you to go run a certain route, you go ahead and run it. If I tell you tomorrow is Easter, go paint some eggs." @EliManning gave @saquon some notable advice his rookie season 😂 pic.twitter.com/deqcBRzoFI

Barkley's US Open experience
The star running back went viral for his reaction during Serena Williams' match against Ajla Tomljanovic. He shared how he felt during the match.
Joel McHale poses a question
The award-winning comedian didn't hold back on making fun of Peyton.
McHale also tried his hand at broadcasting, but Peyton was not a fan.

Well, actually...
While discussing Wilson getting booed in Seattle, Sharpe asked if Peyton experienced a similar reaction from fans the first time he played against the Indianapolis Colts. Eli quickly noted the differences in each scenario.
"He was cut. It was different." @EliManning isn't holding back against Peyton 😅 pic.twitter.com/tYZPUQTMXT
