Tramon Williams is guaranteed $10 million in his three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns.

The deal gives Williams two certain years in Cleveland at the age of 32 and 33. The third will essentially be up to the team.

But in those two years, he is paid $14 million. Green Bay wanted to re-sign Williams to a two-year deal for $10 million -- the same as the total the Browns guaranteed him.

The $7 million average per year ties Williams for 19th with Baltimore's Lardarius Webb and the Giants' Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, according to Spotrac.com.

The guaranteed money ties Williams for 29th among all NFL cornerbacks. The website lists Keenan Lewis of New Orleans ahead of him at $10.3 million, and Orlando Scandrick of Dallas and Davon House of New Orleans tied with him at $10 million.

Buster Skrine received $13 million in guaranteed money to be a nickelback for the Jets, and Brandon Browner was given $7.75 million in guaranteed money by the Saints.

One oddity: Justin Gilbert's rookie deal guarantees him $12.833 million.

Williams' contract with the Browns breaks down this way, according to Spotrac:

• A signing bonus of $1.5 million

• A roster bonus this season of $2 million, and in 2017 of $1 million

• Annual base salaries of $3.7, $6.2 and $5.7 million.

• Additional per-game bonuses of $18,750, or $300,000 if he plays all 16 games.

• Cap costs of $6.5, $7 and $7.5 million.

The cap hit to release Williams for the third year is $500,000, which basically gives the Browns the option to keep him at a $7.5 million cap cost, or release him and save $7 million.
