The Collegiate StarLeague announced Tuesday $175,000 in scholarships for its 2018-2019 season, including its new battle royale division. Registration opened on Tuesday. There are nine games represented in total in the new season: DOTA 2: $31,000; Fortnite: $42,000; Counter Strike: Global Offensive: $31,000; League of Legends: $11,500; Super Smash Bros. Melee: $16,600; Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: $16,600; StarCraft II: $5,000; Madden NFL 19 for PS4: $5,000; Madden NFL 19 for Xbox One: $5,000; and Rocket League: $13,600. CSL is active on 1,600 campuses, said Wim Stocks, general manager of World Gaming, in the press release. "We've forged great partnerships with game publishers and local tournament organizers to accelerate our growth with students and on campus."
