Wilfried Zaha has said he is in discussions over a new contract at Crystal Palace, but will not let the speculation affect his performances.
Former Manchester United winger Zaha had been linked with a big-money away from Selhurst Park for much of the summer transfer window, after winning the club's Player of the Year award for a third successive season. However, he stayed and helped Palace to an opening day 2-0 victory at Fulham.
"It makes no difference to me, because I had my head down anyway," he said when asked about the speculation surrounding this future. "All that stuff was not going to affect me or how the team were playing. Whatever happens, happens.
It's good to be back... buzzing to get a goal and start the season with the win 💥 #CPFC #GodIsGreat pic.twitter.com/5PkfAAkaJS

"But I'm all Palace, and you can see on the pitch that all I think about is the team doing well. We are still speaking about [a potential new contract], still negotiating, whatever. Just going to see if we can come to an agreement.
"The main thing for me is scoring goals. Everyone talks about 'no end product, no end product'. Well, tell me now."
