With the season’s first nine weeks in the rearview mirror, the College Football Playoff selection committee is set to begin its weekly rankings reveal, which will be televised on ESPN for the fifth consecutive season. College Football Playoff: Top 25 begins Tuesday, Oct. 30, and continues for five consecutive Tuesdays, with each episode beginning at 7 p.m. from the network’s Bristol, Conn., studios, except the November 6 episode which will be live from Bankers Life Fieldhouse, at approximately 9 p.m., in between games of the State Farm Champions Classic. The first (Oct. 30), third (Nov. 13), and fourth (Nov. 20) weekly reveals will be an hour, with the second (Nov. 6) and fifth (Nov. 27) shows being a half hour.

For the fifth consecutive year, Rece Davis will host College Football Playoff: Top 25 and will be joined by Kirk Herbstreit, Joey Galloway, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack, Paul Finebaum and Chris Fowler in the debut episode. Most will join Davis each subsequent Tuesday.

Each week, College Football Playoff: Top 25 will include:

  • The Rankings:Unveiling of the CFP selection committee’s Top 25 within approximately the first 20 minutes of the show
  • Inside the Room:Interview with CFP selection committee chair Rob Mullens
  • Coaches’ Perspective:Reaction from coaches that are among the ranked teams is expected
  • Instant Analysis:Dissection and projection of the entire selection committee’s process.

Selection Day: Reveals CFP Selection Committee Final Rankings, CFP Matchups and New Year’s Six Participants
The College Football Playoff selection committee weekly rankings builds momentum toward Sunday, Dec. 2, when the committee will reveal its final rankings, College Football Playoff matchups and the New Year’s Six participants. ESPN will have complete coverage of the sport’s Selection Day, including the exclusive announcement beginning at noon and surrounding programming which will be announced in the coming weeks.

ESPN will stream Rankings Reactions on Twitter, via the @ESPN handle, each week immediately following the conclusion of College Football Playoff: Top 25. Mike Golic Jr. and Jason Fitz will co-host the one hour show featuring further reaction and discussion to the CFP selection committee’s rankings and will engage with fans throughout the show.
