Longhorn Network to Carry Texas Baseball into the Postseason with Full Coverage Surrounding NCAA Regionals

ESPN will present every matchup of the 2018 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship Presented by Capital One, beginning Friday, June 1, with NCAA Regionals action from 16 sites across the country. For the sixth consecutive year, ESPN networks, including the Longhorn Network, will combine to carry a potential 153 matchups from the championship, which includes this weekend’s Regionals (June 1-4), Super Regionals (June 8-11) and the College World Series (June 16-26/27).

Longhorn Network will have its signature studio show to lead off action from the Austin Regional. Host Alex Loeb and Lifetime Longhorns Nathan Thornhill and Travis Duke will team up for Texas GameDay and Texas GameDay Final, airing 30 minutes before Texas’ opener Friday at 8:30 p.m., and rounding out coverage with a 30-minute postgame show.

In addition, Bases Loaded will provide extensive coverage of games over the weekend, including live cut-ins, highlights and commentary from host Matt Schick and baseball analyst Mike Rooney. Bases Loaded will stream live on ESPN3 and the ESPN App from 2 to 10 p.m. ET during each day of regionals, with ESPN and ESPNU airing the studio show at various times throughout the first weekend of action.

All of this weekend’s games are available to stream via the ESPN App on connected devices. ESPN is the home of 24 NCAA Championships, with the College World Series closing out the 2017-18 college sports season.
