Infinite Esports & Entertainment president Ryan "J" Musselman resigned from his post as the top executive of the OpTic Gaming and Houston Outlaws ownership group on Friday, sources familiar with his exit told ESPN. A co-founder of OpTic Gaming in 2007, Musselman has been involved with the team in various stints, most recently being nominated as the operational head of Infinite in October. In May, the owners of Infinite -- Texas Rangers co-owners Neil Leibman and Ray Davis, Houston Astros minority owner John Havens and Aurelius Esports founder Chris Chaney -- agreed to sell the company to Immortals. Since then, Musselman has been on the receiving end of social media abuse from OpTic fans, who have been critical of the team's sale to Immortals.
