Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Jorginho to Man City

Napoli have reportedly opened discussions with midfielder Jorginho to discuss the possibility of keeping him at the Stadio San Paolo this summer. But while the 26-year old was a key player in Napoli's Serie A title challenge, he has caught the eye of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. The Catalan would like to add another deep-lying midfielder to his squad with Fernandinho his only option at present. According to The Sun, a bid in the region of £52 million would be enough to tempt Napoli to sell their Italian star.

Ben Woodburn to Rangers

Steven Gerrard looks set to make another raid on English football in a bid to mould his Rangers' squad in his image with the loan signing of Liverpool starlet Woodburn, according to the Daily Express. The Ibrox side have already signed Brighton's Jamie Murphy, Hull City's Allan McGregor and Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield and are now looking for a striker. Despite just being just 18, Woodburn has already featured for the club's first -team and will be well known to Gerrard due to his time as Under-18s coach at Liverpool.

Christopher Nkunku to Liverpool

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp look to have been handed a major boost in their hopes of luring PSG youngster Nkunku to the club this summer. The 20-year-old central midfielder says he's "not ready" for another season unused on the bench in Paris and will consider his options if he isn't given certain assurances, according to L'Equipe. The French youngster has been linked with Liverpool and Fiorentina lately and could be sold as PSG continue to sweat over possible Financial Fair Play sanctions from UEFA.

Ahmed Hegazi to Tottenham

The list of Hegazi's admirers grows with Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing the West Brom defender this summer, according to ESPN sources. The former Al Ahly defender has only been in the Premier League for a single season but his performances for the Baggies have drawn admiring glances. Nothing will be done until the Egypt international returns from the World Cup, but the defender should cost more than the reported £2.5m release clause suggested by some outlets.

Salomon Rondon to Atletico

Atletico Madrid have waved goodbye to club icon Fernando Torres and look likely to lose Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona. As such the Spanish giants have begun their search for new forwards to boost Diego Simeone's squad in the coming months. A report in the Daily Mail suggests their main targets are Man City forward Sergio Aguero and PSG star Edinson Cavani. But if neither are possible the Madrid club will turn to either Leicester's Jamie Vardy or West Brom forward Rondon as their back-up options.
