The prime-time broadcast of Round 1 will feature Roberts joined on a separate set by co-host Rece Davis and the crew from ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot.

With The Walt Disney Co. and the National Football League joining forces for the 2019 NFL Draft, the addition of Roberts will help make this year’s event bigger than ever. In addition to the traditional pick-by-pick coverage on ESPN and NFL Network, ABC will be the first broadcast network to carry all three days of the draft, giving viewers an up-close and personal look at the athletes and their families and their journey to the NFL.

Roberts started her national broadcasting career as a SportsCenter anchor. At ESPN, she covered the NFL Draft (as pictured below in 1990) and was a regular contributor to NFL PrimeTime. She has continued to work with ESPN through the years at The ESPYS Awards, the Special Olympics World Games and other events.

While in Nashville, Roberts will also report live for GMA on April 25.
