Veteran offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, who worked out for the Cowboys last week and was expected to sign with the team, has opted to retire, according to a source. Veldheer played for the Packers last season. With injuries to Tyron Smith (neck), La’el Collins (hip) and Cameron Erving (knee), the Cowboys were looking for experienced tackle help. Former Cowboy guard Ron Leary is working out for the team today after going through COVID-19 testing protocols.
