Uni Watch contest: Redesign the Rams for return to Los Angeles

NFL, Los Angeles Rams

It's official -- the Rams are returning to Los Angeles (and the Chargers might end up joining them). And already the questions are swirling: Will they get new uniforms? New colors? Should they even get a new team name?

We want you to answer those questions by taking our latest Uni Watch challenge: Redesign the Rams for their move back to L.A. The best entries will be featured in an upcoming Uni Watch column here on ESPN.com.

The ground rules are as follows:

  • You can let the Rams keep their current team name or you can give them an entirely new identity to go with their new city.

  • For now, don't worry about the Chargers. If they end up moving to L.A., we'll run a separate redesign challenge for them.

  • Your entry for the Rams (or whatever name you think they should have) must include a primary logo, full home and road uniforms (helmet, jerseys, pants, socks) and a patch commemorating the team's move to Los Angeles. If you like, you can also include a secondary logo, a throwback or alternate uniform and a Color Rush uniform, but those aren't required. (If you omit these extra elements, it will not be counted against you; if you include them, your submission will be assessed in its entirety. In short, think quality, not quantity.) Please don't include multiple helmets or more than one alternate jersey, since those aren't permitted under the NFL's uniform guidelines.

  • Your designs can be created in any digital or analog medium (Illustrator, Photoshop, crayon, whatever) and can be submitted in any standard digital format (JPG, PDF, TIFF, etc.). You can also create a video presentation and upload it to YouTube.

  • The file you submit should be named after yourself (PaulLukas.jpg, for example). If you're submitting multiple files, please number them (PaulLukas1.jpg, PaulLukas2.jpg, etc.) or use some other designation (PaulLukas-homeuni.jpg, PaulLukas-logo.jpg, etc.). Files that don't follow this format will not be considered.

  • In keeping with long-standing Uni Watch chromatic policy, entries including even a hint of the color purple will not be considered.

  • Email your entry to Uni Watch HQ. If you have more than one concept, feel free to enter as many times as you like.

  • The deadline is Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. ET. Get crackin'!
