Koger reflects on U-M career

"Exit Interview" is a feature at WolverineNation where we chat with departing seniors from the Michigan football and men's basketball programs about their time in Ann Arbor in a Q&A format.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Kevin Koger's four seasons at Michigan were turbulent. He signed as part of Rich Rodriguez's first class at Michigan -- a tight end going to play in a spread system that isn't necessarily friendly for a pass-catching tight end.

Yet the Toledo, Ohio, native played early and was a fixture in the lineup his final three seasons in Ann Arbor, catching 59 passes for 756 yards and nine touchdowns. Among tight ends, he finished his career eighth in career receptions and just outside of the top 10 in receiving yards, 19 yards away from tying Craig Dunaway for 10th place all time.
