Loss Impact: DT Mike Martin

With our Exit Interview series, we will look at each starter/main rotation player and assess how much his loss will mean to Michigan next season.

Previous Loss Impact: DL Will Heininger; TE Kevin Koger; WR Martavious Odoms

Mike Martin was one of the better defensive tackles in Michigan history. He was a three-year starter and four-year contributor for the Wolverines, finishing his career as a team captain and starting every game he played in over the last three seasons.

He finished with 172 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and a forced fumble in his career -- but by the end of his career he was also able to make some of his own defensive line stunt calls at the line of scrimmage, showing the trust new defensive coordinator Greg Mattison had in him.

What will his loss mean?
