Exit Interview: LB J.B. Fitzgerald

"Exit Interview" is a feature at WolverineNation where we chat with departing seniors from the Michigan football and men's basketball programs about their time in Ann Arbor in a Q&A format.

Previous Exit Interviews: C David Molk; CB Troy Woolfolk; DL Will Heininger; TE Steve Watson; TE Kevin Koger; S Jared Van Slyke; DT Alex Schwab; WR Jordan Barpal; LB Brandon Herron; CB Tony Anderson; FB John McColgan; WR Martavious Odoms; DT Mike Martin; OL Mark Huyge

Former Michigan linebacker J.B. Fitzgerald played in every game of his career -- starting three at linebacker as a junior -- but was used as a reserve linebacker and on special teams throughout his career.

Fitzgerald made 58 tackles in his career with seven tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble, coming in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, his final game. Fitzgerald discussed his career and what's next for him in our latest exit interview:

WolverineNation: When you look back, what was your favorite moment in your career?

J.B. Fitzgerald: “This past year was a lot more ups than downs, which was really nice in contrast to the previous couple of years. Probably the best moment had to be being on stage after the Sugar Bowl with the confetti streaming down and it was a great celebration. I don’t think there’s a better moment than that right there.”
