IRVING, Texas -- Gene Steratore’s crew will work Sunday’s game at Philadelphia after having Week 7 off to rest.

The Cowboys last saw Steratore on Week 6 last year at Minnesota and were penalized 11 times for 91 yards. The Vikings were flagged five times for 45 yards.

Steratore’s crew last worked the Houston-Baltimore game on Oct. 16 and called 12 penalties with 10 accepted.

The three defensive holding penalties from the Texans-Ravens game are notable. Two came against cornerbacks and one against a linebacker. That is a sign they will not tolerate much bumping in coverage, so Mike Jenkins, Terence Newman and Orlando Scandrick will have to be on top of their technique in going against Philadelphia’s receivers.
