ARLINGTON, Texas -- When the Triplets -- Michael Irvin, Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith -- were added to the Ring of Honor in 2005, it made sense since their careers were so interwoven in leading the Cowboys to three Super Bowl wins in the 1990s.

Drew Pearson, Charles Haley and Larry Allen don’t have the same common bond, except for their place in Dallas history.

“All of these guys were part of some of the greatest moments and were very impactful to having those moments,” owner and general manager Jerry Jones said. “All three of these guys deserve to be here. I don’t have a program of one a year or two a year. I have a program of how it feels and this felt good.”
