The Chargers may be without receiver Malcom Floyd again because of a hamstring injury. He hasn’t practiced all week. Floyd missed last week’s game. He could join tight end Antonio Gates on the sideline in Cincinnati in a crucial game for San Diego. He is expected to miss the next two games with a nagging foot injury that has kept him out of the past two games and four of the past six games. Gates said there is no guarantee he’ll even be ready for the playoffs if the Chargers make it. Their first playoff game would be either Jan. 8 or Jan. 9, so Gates will have time to get ready. Linebacker Stephen Cooper missed his second day of practice with a knee injury. Fellow starting linebacker Larry English was limited in practice. He didn’t practice Wednesday and didn’t play last week with a foot injury. Receiver Patrick Crayton practiced fully for the first time since suffering a wrist injury a month ago. Running back Ryan Mathews was practicing fully Thursday after he missed Wednesday’s practice with an illness.
