GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Most of our Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers discussion is going on over at NFL Countdown Live, but it seems worth noting here that Bears coach Lovie Smith might have the Packers' playoff chances in his hands.

The Packers haven't been able to mount much of anything against the Bears defense in a game they need to win in order to reach the postseason. The Bears are already locked in as the NFC's No. 2 seed. So will Smith sit some of his best defensive players for the second half to protect against injury? Or will the Bears keep pushing until the Packers are eliminated?
