Road tripping in the AFC West

Let’s look at one road trip fans should take to see their favorite AFC West team in 2011:

Denver

At Tennessee, Sept. 24

Why: Nashville is a great sports town. It’s a great setting to see a game and this might be one of the Broncos’ better chances of winning on the road.

Kansas City

Jan. 1 at Denver

Why: The Chiefs might be playing for a playoff spot and they could use the support. Spending the New Year in Denver could end up being a time of celebration for the Chiefs.

Oakland

Dec. 11 at Green Bay

Why: It’s going to be cold and it will be tough for Oakland to win this game, but I think every NFL fan should get a chance to go to Lambeau Field. The Raiders don’t go there often. If you get the chance, you have to go.

San Diego

Nov. 20 at Chicago

Why: Chicago is a great city and the Philip Rivers-Jay Cutler matchup has always been fun to watch. It won’t happen for another four years. Take advantage of it.
