Packers offense sidelined in third quarter

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers ran nine plays in the third quarter here at Lambeau Field and didn't have an offensive score as they try to hang on against the Detroit Lions.

Charles Woodson's 48-yard return of an interception gave the Packers a 28-14 lead early in the quarter, but it's been tough sledding since then for the Packers. The Lions have closed the gap to 28-20 and have the ball near midfield as the fourth quarter begins. Through three quarters, the Lions (29:23) have more than twice the time of possession as the Packers (13:37).

This is shaping up to be a more interesting finish than it looked like it might. Hang on, and we'll be back shortly after the game.
