Tebow's brother happy to see Broncos lose

The Tebow family still has some hard feelings for the Denver Broncos.

After the Ravens ousted the Broncos in the playoffs on Saturday, Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow's older brother, Peter Tebow, tweeted: "Am I the only one in Denver who's happy right now?" The Broncos traded away Tebow last offseason after the first-round pick led them to a playoff win.

While Tim Tebow doesn't play like a prototypical quarterback, he revived Denver last year, leading the team to the playoffs and ultimately an overtime win in the playoffs against the Steelers.

The Broncos, though, didn't see Tebow as the answer at quarterback and shipped him off to the Jets last offseason while signing Manning to be their quarterback. While Manning led the Broncos to the top seed in the AFC, he couldn't garner a victory in the playoffs like Tebow had the previous year.

After the game, Peter Tebow retweeted a comment saying: "'That's Karma, Elway.'--wife, Tebow-lover." The tweet was a shot at John Elway, the former Broncos quarterback and current Executive Vice President of Football Operations who dumped Tebow for Manning.

Peter Tebow also had an earlier tweet about Manning: "Did anyone else just see Payton Manning give the awkward turtle sign?!?" Manning completed 28 of 43 passes for three touchdowns but threw two costly interceptions, including one in the first overtime, and lost a fumble.

Peter Tebow's twitter account is not verified, but Tim Tebow's verified account tweeted at his brother's account in June: "I want to wish my big brother @PeterTebow a happy birthday! Love you and hope to see you soon!" Tebow is listed on the Highline Community Church (Colo.) as a young adult pastor.

Tim Tebow, meanwhile, enters an offseason not knowing what his future holds in the NFL. His initial season with the Jets was a disaster as the Wildcat package never got off the ground and he made more of a mark on special teams. He threw just eight passes and rushed 32 times for 102 yards as the Jets went 6-10 and missed the playoffs.
