Nissan and ESPN Give One Lucky Fan the Chance to be a Part of the Nissan Heisman House

Fans Can Enter via Twitter Beginning January 1

After the winner of the Discover BCS National Championship Game is crowned on Jan. 7, one lucky fan will be chosen to be a part of the next season’s Nissan Heisman House, courtesy of Nissan USA, ESPN, TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles and OMD.

A new custom spot, featuring Heisman House dwellers Tim Brown and Desmond Howard, will encourage fans to enter for their chance to hang out with this exclusive fraternity when filming begins for the 2013-14 season. The contest will be promoted across ESPN’s television and digital properties, as well as on social media platforms throughout BCS Bowl Week.

Twitter handles, including @NissanUSA and @ESPNPromotions, will kick off the virally designed sweepstakes on Jan. 1 by issuing a tweet which fans will be asked to retweet to enter the sweepstakes.  Fans can also create an original tweet and incorporate #NissanHeismanHouse to enter, or they can enter directly at www.nissanheismanhouse.com. Entries will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m. ET on Jan. 8.  A winner will be chosen at random and notified via Twitter.

The Heisman House, currently in its second year, support’s Nissan’s sponsorship of the Heisman Memorial Trophy Award.  The fully integrated campaign, created in partnership with TBWAChiatDay, OMD and ESPN CreativeWorks, revolves around the online platform, www.NissanHeismanHouse.com, where fans are invited to get to know current members of the house and vote for the next Heisman Trophy winner.

The 2012-13 house included Robert Griffin III, Mark Ingram, Archie Griffin, Ron Dayne, Ricky Williams, Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, Eddie George, Marcus Allen, Matt Leinart, Herschel Walker, Tim Brown and Sean Astin, reviving his role as Notre Dame’s Rudy.

Videos featuring the residents of the Heisman House have been available online and have preceded games on ESPN Saturday Night Football on ABC throughout the season.  The content features the Heisman trophy winners along with various Nissan models, including the All-New Altima, Pathfinder and Sentra. The site also includes behind-the-scenes ESPN specials and interviews.
