Mike & Mike in the Morning at Notre Dame Friday, Oct. 12

ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning (6-10 a.m. ET M-F) will originate live from The University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 12.

Co-hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will broadcast from Library Mall, on the lawn between the stadium and library, with Touchdown Jesus as the backdrop. They will be near the demo field to be used by ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot during its Saturday telecast (9 a.m. on ESPNU, 10 a.m. on ESPN) before the No. 7-ranked Irish host No.17 Stanford at 3:30 p.m.

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly will be among the guests to join Greenberg and Golic on-set Friday.

Mike & Mike in the Morning previously originated from South Bend in 2006 when Greenberg, paying off his “Sheets of Integrity Bracket Wager” loss to Golic, wore the Notre Dame Leprechaun mascot outfit during the broadcast.

Friday will be somewhat of a homecoming for Golic, a 1985 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he served as captain of the football team during his senior season and wrestled. His sons Jake (TE) and Mike, Jr. (OL) play for the Irish, and his daughter Sydney is a freshman on the swim team. Golic’s brothers Bob and Greg also played football at Notre Dame.

College GameDay on ESPN Radio (Saturdays, noon-7 p.m.) with Ryen Russillo, Trevor Matich, and Brad Edwards will originate from LSU where the No. 8-ranked Tigers will host No. 3 South Carolina.
