Carmelo Anthony sets Knicks, MSG records on career night

Carmelo Anthony

Just one week ago, Kevin Durant set an NBA season-high by scoring 54 points. Carmelo Anthony one-upped Durant Friday night, scoring 37 in the first half and finishing with 62 points. Anthony's career high broke the New York Knicks franchise record, previously held by Bernard King, who scored 60 on Christmas Day in 1984. Anthony also broke the single-game record at the current version of Madison Square Garden -- which opened in 1968 -- besting the mark Kobe Bryant set in 2009 by a single point.
