Would rain hurt or help the Ravens?

The early weather forecast for Sunday's AFC Championship Game at Foxborough, Mass., is only a 30 percent chance of rain. This number could go up or down as it gets closer to the 3 p.m. kickoff.

If it does rain during the game, how much will it affect the outcome? The Ravens are built to run the ball with running back Ray Rice, so it might not be as much of a factor for Baltimore. But Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is more of an expert when it comes to New England winters than anyone.

The temperature is expected to reach a high of 37 degrees on Sunday.

"It's a cool place to play. It's always cold," Ravens linebacker Jarret Johnson said of Gillette Stadium. "The fans are always rowdy. They got that cool bridge in the background. I don't really know what that is, but it's pretty cool. I don't know what that's all about."

Johnson added, "We've been in a lot of wars up there, and we've only won one. We're going to be looking to go in and win another one."

The last time there was heavy rain for a Ravens-Patriots game was in November 2004, when Brady completed 15 of 30 passes for 172 yards.
