Juventus chief confirms interest in signing Emre Can and Leon Goretzka

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has said the club are keeping tabs on Liverpool midfielder Emre Can and Schalke's Leon Goretzka, who could both be available on free transfers in June.

The Germany internationals are out of contract with their clubs in the summer, and Juve were linked with a move for Goretzka in the last transfer window.

"They are two luxury free transfers and we are at the window," Marotta told reporters in Milan.

"It will all come down to their individual will."

Marotta has built a reputation for signing top players on free transfers, having brought in Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Kingsley Coman in the recent past.

But the Serie A champions will face stiff competition for both Can and Goretzka, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund expected to make offers to the players.

Barcelona and a number of Premier League clubs have also been linked with Goretzka, who has scored four goals in his nine Bundesliga appearances this season.

The 22-year-old former Bochum midfielder has also hit three in his past three appearances for Germany.
