SEC Network kicks off its fourth college football season with a full slate of new and returning weekly programming surrounding three exclusive SEC football games each Saturday. The first week of the 2017 fall studio schedule is highlighted with the premiere of  a new recurring series from Paul Finebaum called “Homecoming.” Finebaum spent two days with Auburn Alumni Tim Cook exploring the Apple CEO’s favorite spots and memories on campus and documenting his interactions with current Auburn students.

The schedule is further highlighted with a new analyst on SEC Now, a new host for SEC Film Room, the return of SEC Inside, the debut of Thinking Out Loud and guest analyst Les Miles and special guest Steve Spurrier set to appear on SEC Nation.

Homecoming
The new special hosted by Finebaum will air periodically throughout the year and feature notable SEC alumni returning to their schools.  In the debut episode, airing Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 8 p.m. ET, Finebaum goes in-depth with Tim Cook, CEO of the world’s most valuable company. Cook graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and has been the CEO of Apple Inc since 2011. His “Homecoming” includes scenes where he re-lives dorm life, his on-campus job and his favorite Auburn sports memories. SEC Network cameras are there as he speaks to the Auburn football team and shares wisdom on life and business with an auditorium of undergrads.

SEC Now
Dari Nowkhah and Peter Burns host SEC Now for the fourth year, featuring breaking news, highlights, interviews and analysis as the network’s flagship news & information show. Joined by a rotating panel of analysts, Nowkhah and Burns provide pre and postgame coverage of football games on Saturdays and throughout the week.

Former Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley will debut on SEC Now as the network’s newest college football analyst beginning week one. Shockley played for the Bulldogs from 2002-2005. He was named the MVP of the 2005 SEC Football Championship and also won the CFA Bobby Bowden Football Player of the Year award. Shockley was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2006 and has mostly recently been working in sports television.

SEC Film Room
SEC Film Room returns for its fourth season on Wednesday nights, breaking down the Xs and Os with Southeastern Conference head coaches following their latest matchup. This season the show will be hosted by college football analyst and former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb.

“SEC Film Room allows us all to peek behind the curtain to see why and how the games unfold the way they do on gameday,” said Stinchcomb. “It’s exciting to be a part of a show with incredible access to the coaches who build the gameplans and the players who carry them out.”

SEC Inside
Taking viewers onto the practice fields and into the locker room, SEC Inside returns with a rare two episodes in week one for the start of college football. The SEC Network crews will spend time with No. 1 Alabama and No. 17 Florida as they prepare for their respective matches. The show, shot in cinematic style, also delivers new vantage points and exclusive sound from the coaches and sidelines of the No. 3 Florida State vs. No. 1 Alabama and No. 11 Michigan vs. No. 17 Florida neutral site games.

SEC Nation
The network’s traveling pregame show, SEC Nation presented by AT&T, is back for its fourth season on Saturday, Sept. 2, in a special three-hour edition (9 a.m. – noon ET) from Arlington, Texas, site of the Advocare Classic for a Top 25 matchup of No. 17 Florida facing No. 11 Michigan (3:30 p.m., ABC). The show marks the first time SEC Nation has opened the season from a neutral site game and only the second time the show has aired from a neutral site city during the regular season. The show will include live reports, analysis and features surrounding all the Week One SEC football action, as well as guest analyst Les Miles and special guest Steve Spurrier.

Laura Rutledge makes her debut as host of SEC Nation. The season premiere also marks the first show for new reporter Lauren Sisler, an award-winning journalist who takes over the role vacated by Rutledge. Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum will all contribute to the show as commentators for the fourth season.

Thinking Out Loud
Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears’ new football talk show debuts on Monday, Sept 4 and airs every Monday during the 2017 football season on SEC Network. Announced at SEC Media Days in July, the show is – according to McElroy and Spears – “hostless” and relies on the two analysts’ viewpoints having played on opposite sides of the ball throughout their college and professional careers.

McElroy and Spears will invite fans into the discussion via social media and live call-ins, providing a fresh look and feel for both the viewer and the college football TV landscape.

SEC Network 2017 Football Booths
The fall slate surrounds at least three football games that air each week on SEC Network, four during kickoff week. SEC Saturday Night, the franchise that features SEC Network’s marquee college football game each Saturday, will have a new broadcasting team this season. Former SEC starting quarterback Jordan Rodgers and offensive lineman Cole Cubelic, both who were team captains, will be the analysts, with Rodgers in the booth and Cubelic at field level. Familiar SEC voice Tom Hart will call the play-by-play each week. The new team were announced at SEC Media Days in July.
