The Cavaliers will use part of their $5.2M tax mid-level exception to sign former second round pick Cedi Osman. Cleveland now has $2.4M remaining of the exception. The total cost of signing Osman is $15.5M when factoring in salary, buyout and luxury tax penalties. The Cavaliers now have committed $211M in salary and tax for 2017-18 which includes a league high $70.7M in luxury tax.
