India Aim to Retain 2013 Crown

ESPN Caribbean presents exclusive coverage of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy semi-finals and final, bowling off on June 14 from Cardiff. Last tournament’s beaten finalist, England, will be led by star batsman, Joe Root, and strike bowler, Liam Plunkett, in their quest to win their first-ever Champions Trophy. They will be aiming to do so on home soil as they battle Pakistan in the opening semi-final. Defending champions, India, will then square off against semi-final debutants, Bangladesh, on June 15 from Birmingham. India boasts the tournament’s top-scorer, Shikhar Dhawan (271 runs), while Bangladesh will be led by the competition’s third-best batsman, Tamim Iqbal (223 runs).
