Men's College Basketball, Kansas Jayhawks

Kansas Jayhawks coach Bill Self will be among the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductees officially announced Saturday, a source told ESPN.

Self, 54, has won 13 consecutive Big 12 regular-season titles and also won a national title in 2008.

He has been a head coach at Oral Roberts, Tulsa, Illinois and Kansas, and has a career mark of 623-193. Self is 416-88 in 14 seasons with the Jayhawks.

The inductees will be announced Saturday at noon ET on ESPN2. Enshrinement ceremonies will be Sept. 7-9 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

A group of 14 finalists for this year's induction class were announced in February. That list also included first-time entries Chris Webber, Sidney Moncrief, Tracy McGrady, Rebecca Lobo, Rudy Tomjanovich, Rollie Massimino, Kim Mulkey and longtime referee Hugh Evans.

Previous finalists returning to the ballot included Tim Hardaway, Muffet McGraw, Bo Ryan, record-setting high school coach Robert Hughes and 10-time AAU national champion Wayland Baptist University.

Finalists needed 18 of 24 votes from the Honors Committee to be enshrined.
