For Urlacher, Hall of Fame is 'exclamation point' on career (0:45)

Brian Urlacher says "you can't get any higher than the Hall of Fame." As for his legacy, Urlacher wants to be remembered as a player who played the game the right way. (0:45)

As Pro Football Hall of Fame president David Baker visited the hotel rooms of those picked for the class of 2018 to inform them of their selections Saturday, he found an unusual message hanging from the handle of Brian Urlacher's door.

"Do Not Disturb."

Baker took the sign off, showed it to the camera crew that was following him and said with a smile: "You think he really means it?"

Baker had a hunch the sign wasn't meant for him and knocked anyway.

"I hope you don't mind, we saw the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your door," Baker told the former Chicago Bears linebacker while showing him the sign.

"You can disturb us," Urlacher said with a laugh before hearing the news he made the Hall in his first year of eligibility and embracing Baker.

No doubt the routine of hanging that sign on hotel room doors will have a new meaning for Urlacher from now on.
