Bayern Munich stars find Arjen Robben tantrum at substitution hilarious

With his team 1-0 up, Arjen Robben found himself being replaced for the final five minutes of Bayern Munich's league game against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday evening.

After seeing his number come up, the 33-year-old winger came reluctantly trudging over to the touchline, batting away handshakes and grumbling before slumping in the dugout like a scolded child.

His mood won't have been lightened by his teammates on the bench such as Xabi Alonso, Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng who found the whole situation hilarious and were not afraid to show it.

"I was never happy when I got substituted either when I still played,' Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti told reporters after the game.

"I do not have any problem with Robben's reaction."

Bayern successfully held on to their narrow lead for the remainder of the match, thus further cementing their commanding position at the summit of the table.
