ESPN Radio to Showcase 27 Postseason College Bowls including College Football Playoff

College Football Playoff National Championship Game Airs January 9

ESPN Radio’s season-long coverage of the 2016 college football campaign will culminate with a 27-game postseason bowl schedule, including all matchups from the College Football Playoff, capped by the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T on Monday, Jan. 9, with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET. ESPN Monday Night Football voice Sean McDonough will call the final game alongside analyst Todd Blackledge, with reporters Holly Rowe and Ian Fitzsimmons.

ESPN Radio will also broadcast each of the “New Year’s Six” bowls featuring the College Football Playoff Semifinals and four additional premier games, starting Friday, Dec. 30, with the Capital One Orange Bowl, as No. 6 Michigan faces No. 11 Florida State. Dave Flemming and Tom Ramsey will describe the action with reporter Allison Williams. The College Football Playoff Semifinals will include the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (No. 4 Washington vs. No. 1 Alabama), followed by the Playstation Fiesta Bowl (No. 3 Ohio State vs. No. 2 Clemson) on Saturday, Dec. 31.

College Football Playoff National Championship Coverage

ESPN Radio will have comprehensive coverage of the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T, including two days of on-site broadcasts on Monday, Jan. 9, and Tuesday, Jan. 10, of Mike & Mike (6 – 10 a.m., simulcast on ESPN2) and Russillo & Kanell (1 – 4 p.m.). In addition, ESPN Radio will air a special edition of College GameDay hosted by Doug Kezirian and Brad Edwards, with Trevor Matich reporting from Tampa, from 4 – 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

All postseason college football games, including the College Football Playoff will be available on ESPN Radio, the ESPN app, ESPNRadio.com, SiriusXM, Apple iTunes Radio, Slacker Radio and TuneIn.
