Titans' Taylor Lewan consoles young fan after tough loss

One young fan took the Tennessee Titans’ 43-35 loss to the San Diego Chargers pretty hard, but he got some unexpected special help in getting over it.

A video posted to Facebook captured Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan coming over to the stands after the loss and talking with the boy for about 40 seconds to console him. He then gave the boy a towel and the floppy hat Lewan was wearing before heading to the locker room.

Even in a crowd full of Chargers fans, the Titan drew cheers for his thoughtful gesture and got a handshake from a police officer working security on the field.

It wasn't a successful trip on the field for the Titans, who have not won in San Diego since 1990, but at least they made one lasting impression on a young fan, who is not likely to forget Lewan's compassion.
