Chicago Cubs fans are among the most passionate in sports; this is no secret. Cleveland Indians starter Trevor Bauer found out Wednesday that this passion sometimes manifests in slightly mischievous ways.
Bauer is slated to start Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday night, his first time on the mound since Game 3 of the ALCS, when the finger he injured while cleaning his drone opened up in grotesque fashion, cutting the start short in the first inning.
And one Cubs fan wants to make sure Bauer hasn't forgotten the ordeal.
I see the @Cubs fans love me! How nice of them to send me a gift! pic.twitter.com/P3roBJn6Cg
