What does Urban Meyer do on his bye week? Chores

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Urban Meyer didn't have to report to his day job this weekend. But the Ohio State Buckeyes coach was still put to work at home.

After returning from a full day of recruiting around the state of Ohio on Friday, Meyer apparently used his bye weekend to catch up on some housework. Meyer's wife, Shelley, caught him cleaning the windows on Saturday morning, snapping a photo to prove that the three-time national champion has to do a few chores like anybody else.

Meyer didn't sound quite as relaxed early in the week as he broke down film and saw several areas of improvement he wanted corrected, even after dominating Oklahoma on the road last week to improve to 3-0 early in the season. The Buckeyes had a few too many penalties, struggled at times to get aligned on offense and had a couple defensive breakdowns that caught his attention.

"I was hoping that everyone would see it the same way I did, and they did," Meyer said on Tuesday. "There is still so much room for improvement."

Defensive end Jalyn Holmes joked that Ohio State "left some meat on the bone" against the Sooners. But before going back to the office on campus to correct any of those issues, first Meyer had to make sure the windows at home were as spotless as his record so far this year.
