Browns place LB Nate Orchard (ankle) on injured reserve

The Cleveland Browns placed second-year linebacker Nate Orchard on injured reserve Saturday because of a high ankle sprain.

In addition, the team announced that LB Corey Lemonier has been added to the injury report as doubtful for personal reasons.

The Browns have a lengthy injury report that has six players ruled out (WR Corey Coleman, C Cam Erving, TE Seth DeValve, DL Carl Nassib, QB Josh McCown and Orchard), two listed as doubtful (Lemonier and CB Tramon Williams) and cornerback Joe Haden and safety Ibraheim Campbell tabbed as questionable.

Orchard suffered his injury on the final play of the Browns' 30-24 overtime loss in Miami. Though his numbers weren't eye-popping (four tackles in three games), Orchard seemed to be growing into his position.

Lemonier came up with a key play against the Dolphins as he sacked and forced Ryan Tannehill to fumble late in regulation. That turnover gave the Browns a chance to win on the final play of regulation, but Cody Parkey missed a field goal.

The Browns signed LB Cam Johnson from Arizona's practice squad to take Orchard's roster spot.
