Welcome to the CFB Vegas rankings, an attempt to rank the top teams in college football from a Vegas perspective. They are the composite power ratings of Massey-Peabody Analytics, Phil Steele and ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI).

Alabama remains No. 1 in the ratings, followed by Ohio State, Louisville and Clemson. This week, Louisville and Clemson will meet on Saturday in the first matchup of top-five teams in this system this season.

1. Alabama Crimson Tide (Rating: 60.7; Last week: No. 1)

Alabama has been No. 1 in the ratings every week this year. The Crimson Tide is 7-2 to win the College Football Playoff, and a 35-point favorite this week at home against Kentucky. That's the largest Alabama has been favored by in a conference game under Nick Saban.
