In preparation for the 2016 NFL season, ESPN has hired multiple new reporters for NFL Nation, the collection of 32 team-specific reporters who cover the National Football League year-round for ESPN on television, radio, ESPN.com and other platforms.

New reporters and their assignments include:

  • Sarah Barshop (Houston Texans) – Barshop was a writer and editor at Sports Illustrated and previously covered the Green Bay Packers for ESPN Milwaukee.
  • Alden Gonzalez (Los Angeles Rams) – The former Los Angeles Angels beat writer for MLB.com, Gonzalez is fluent in both English and Spanish. He will also contribute to ESPN Deportes.
  • Tim McManus (Philadelphia Eagles) – McManus, a contributor to ESPN Radio affiliate 97.5 The Fanatic, has covered the Eagles since 2010. He wrote for Philadelphia Magazine’s Birds 24/7 site, which he created with Sheil Kapadia (ESPN NFL Nation’s Seahawks reporter).
  • Katherine Terrell (Cincinnati Bengals) – Terrell recently covered the New Orleans Saints for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

Earlier this summer, ESPN also added new reporters Jenna Laine (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Jordan Raanan (New York Giants), while current NFL Nation reporters Paul Gutierrez and Nick Wagoner changed assignments. Gutierrez moved from the San Francisco 49ers to cover the Oakland Raiders – a team he previously covered. Wagoner moved to the West Coast, switching from the St. Louis Rams to the 49ers.

As multimedia journalists, the NFL Nation reporters will write for ESPN.com and contribute team coverage to SportsCenter, NFL Insiders, NFL Live, ESPN Radio, ESPN The Magazine and other ESPN outlets. Now fully staffed, ESPN’s NFL Nation features the following team reporters:
