Michael Phelps walked away from the Rio Olympics on a high note by winning a gold medal in the 4x100 medley relay, which he has said is the final race of his storied career.
After the U.S. team set a new Olympic record in the race with a time of 3:27.95, the sports world took to social media to congratulate Phelps:
