Aaron Rodgers: Brother's comments on 'The Bachelorette' 'don't affect me a whole lot'

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers said he doesn’t want to talk about his relationship with his family after his brother, Jordan, said on an episode of the television show “The Bachelorette” that he doesn’t have a relationship with the Green Bay Packers quarterback.

“I haven’t seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot,” Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday on the first day of training camp. “As far as those kind of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters. I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition.”

Jordan, a former quarterback at Vanderbilt who attempted an NFL career, is a contestant on the ABC show. He said he has a great relationship with his brother, Luke, but, “Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of how he’s chosen to live his life.”

“I chose to stay close to my family and my parents and my brother,” Jordan said on the show. “Yeah, it’s not ideal, and I love him. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has and the demands from people that he has. [I] don’t have hard feelings against him. It’s just how things go right now.”
