Manchester United's Paul Pogba starts vs. Chelsea at Old Trafford

Manchester United Paul Pogba was named in the starting lineup for Sunday's Premier League match against Chelsea at Old Trafford, with youngster Scott McTominay playing alongside him in midfield.

France international Pogba was left out of the XI to play Sevilla on Wednesday but he has returned for the visit of Antonio Conte's side.

With Ander Herrera injured, 21-year-old McTominay keeps his place. Anthony Martial is also back in place of Juan Mata, who is on the bench alongside Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.

Jose Mourinho has also resisted the temptation to start with Eric Bailly, instead keeping faith with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof.

Conte restored Alvaro Morata to his Chelsea team. The Spain international, who scored the winning goal when the two teams met in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge in November, comes in for Pedro Rodriguez, with Eden Hazard moving from a No. 9 position to his favoured role on the left of a front three.

Danny Drinkwater replaces Cesc Fabregas in central midfield alongside N'Golo Kante, but Conte keeps faith with the same defence that held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie on Tuesday, with Andreas Christensen flanked by Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Young; McTominay, Matic, Pogba; Alexis, Lukaku, Martial.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; Moses, Drinkwater, Kante, Alonso; Willian, Morata, Hazard.
