West Indies Aim to Qualify for 2019 World Cup

ESPN presents exclusive coverage of the 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers live from Zimbabwe. West Indies matches from the Group Stage will be covered from March 10 on the ESPN Caribbean television network with Super Six action then bowling off March 15. All matches can also be streamed live via ESPN Play (www.espnplay.com) — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.

West Indies, quarter-finalists in the last World Cup in 2015, will be in Group A alongside United Arab Emirates, Papua New Guinea, Ireland and Netherlands – with the latter two matches being broadcast. The Caribbean team boasts captain, Jason Holder, as well as iconic Jamaican duo, Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels. Group B consists of Scotland, Afghanistan, Nepal, Hong Kong and the hosts, Zimbabwe.

The top three teams from each Group will then join each other in the Super Six. Here, the top trio from Group A plays that of Group B in three matches. At the end of these matches, the top two teams with the most points will advance to the World Cup, and also contest a final on March 25. Follow all the action at #ESPNxWCQ as ESPN Caribbean continues to connect the region’s fans with the sports they love.
