ESPN will carry eight college football conference championship games, the most in the industry, to conclude the networks’ coverage of more than 800 regular season games.  ESPN’s conference championship coverage begins Friday, Dec. 1, with the Pac-12, and continues Saturday, Dec. 2, with seven games, concluding with the Dr Pepper ACC Championship on ABC’s Saturday Night Football. The college football drama continues Sunday, Dec. 3, as ESPN will exclusively unveil the College Football Playoff, the New Year’s Six and the complete bowl schedule.

ABC’s Saturday Night Football: Miami Makes First Appearance in ACC Championship; Clemson Looking for Third Consecutive Title
ABC’s Saturday Night Football will conclude its season with the Dr Pepper ACC Championship game between Miami and Clemson (8 p.m. ET). This is the Hurricanes’ first appearance in the game which began in 2005, while it is the Tigers’ fifth and third consecutive. Clemson will be attempting to join Florida State as the only team to win the game three consecutive years.  Increasing the magnitude, a win by either school will likely make that team a College Football Playoff qualifier. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will broadcast from the city on Saturday morning (9 a.m. – noon).

Friday Night Lights: Stanford Looks to Remain Undefeated in Pac-12 Championship; USC Looking for School’s First Win in the Game
The Pac-12 Championship between Stanford and USC (8 p.m., ESPN) owns the sport’s spotlight on Friday night as the two schools meet for the second time ever in the game. The Cardinal have played three times in the game, the most of any school and has won all three times. USC is making just its second appearance in the game and will look to give the South Division its first-ever win in the game. Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe will call the game from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes will also cover the game.

Prolific Offenses Meet in the American Athletic Championship
Memphis and UCF (noon, ABC) will both make their debut in the in the American Athletic Championship and the game will, presumably, have New Year’s Six implications. The winner of the game is likely to be the highest-ranked Group of 5 Conference Champion, which is an automatic qualification to a New Year’s Six game. The Knights enter the game undefeated, while the Tigers will be looking to avenge their only loss of the season. This game also matches the No. 1 scoring offense in college football and the number three offense, with both teams averaging more than 45 points a game and the Tigers leading the nation with 47.3 points.  Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Todd McShay will be on the call of the game from Spectrum Stadium in Orlando, Fla.

• Marathon MAC Championship: Akron vs. Toledo from Ford Field in Detroit (noon, ESPN)
• Dynacraft Conference USA Football Championship: North Texas at Florida Atlantic from FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. (noon, ESPN2)
• SWAC Championship Presented by McDonalds: Alcorn State vs. Grambling from NRG Stadium in Houston (4:30 p.m., ESPNU)
• Mountain West Football Championship: Fresno State at Boise State at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho (7:45 p.m., ESPN)
• Sun Belt: Troy at Arkansas State (7:30 p.m., ESPN2) with the winner guaranteed a share of conference title. Earlier in the day, Appalachian State hosts Louisiana (2:30 p.m., ESPN3). If the Mountaineers lose that game, then the Troy-Arkansas State game turns into a defacto conference championship game. ESPN3 will stream four additional Sun Belt games this weekend with that schedule available here.
• ESPN Radio will have the broadcast of the 2017 Big 12 Football Championship Game between TCU and Oklahoma from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (12:30 p.m.).
